The KVS recruitment application process starts with registering online on the KVS official website at https://kvsangathan.nic.in/announcement. Candidates need to successfully complete all the stages the application process to apply for this recruitment process.
While filling out the KVS application form, each candidate will have to upload their necessary document, proving their educational qualification, age limit and identity. The documents required are the candidate’s graduation certificate, intermediate certificate, matriculation certificate, latest passport-size photograph with signature, and a valid government-issued ID card. Candidates must ensure that they have uploaded these documents in the required format and size.
The KVS recruitment application fee varies depending on the post or position for which you are applying. For the KVS TGT and PRT, the application fee is INR 1000, and for the position of PGT, the application fee is INR 1500.
KVS Recruitment FAQs: Eligibility Criteria
The age limit criteria for the KVS recruitment is different for each position; for the position of PRT, candidates must not be more than 30 years, for TGT the age limit is 35 years and for PGT the maximum age is 40 years.
The KVS recruitment eligibility criteria include education qualifications, age limit and nationality. Candidates appearing for the KVS recruitment must possess a bachelor’s degree in B.Ed or any equivalent degree, must be in the age group of 35 to 50 years, and should be Indian citizens.
Candidates belonging to each category are required to score a minimum mark in the exam to become eligible for the KVS teachers. Candidates belonging to the General category must score between 145-150, for SC/ ST candidates the score must be 130-135, and for persons with disabilities, the score must be 110-120 out of 180.
KVS Recruitment FAQs: Syllabus
The KVS exam paper consists of several questions from subjects like Reasoning, Computer Literacy, General Knowledge, General English and Hindi, Education and Leadership and Subject-specific topics.
Part 3 of the KVS exam consists of Perspectives on Education and Leadership. This section includes a total of 40 marks, where each question carries 1 mark.
