GLAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear in the GLAT examination, candidates must first fulfil the eligibility criteria laid down by the conducting body. Therefore, aspirants are advised to go through the GLAT eligibility criteria mentioned below very carefully:

  • It is mandatory to secure at least 45% of minimum aggregated marks in class 12th to fill out the application form.
  •  For candidates who belong to any reserved categories like SC/ST, the minimum qualifying marks are decided as 42.5% in the 12th board examination.
  • Candidates should be below 21 years of age. 

The institution demands candidates qualify for all the eligibility criteria for the entrance test without any negotiation.

GLAT Documents Required

While applying for the examination, candidates need to ensure that they also have the proper documents for the application process. The list of documents required has been provided below to allow candidates to gather all these documents in advance to avoid any last-minute confusion and chaos:

  • An original and photocopy of the 10th and 12th Marksheet
  • A copy of the graduation mark sheet (if applicable)
  • A printed and original copy of the LL.B./BA.LL.B. mark sheet (if applicable)
  • A copy of the Domicile and Aadhar Card
  • 10 passport-size photographs
  • Original Character and Migration Certificate
  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
  • Income Certificate (SC/ST)
  • Affidavit for a gap in the academic year (If Applicable)

GLAT 2023 Available Seats

After witnessing the increased demand for lawyers as well as of the examination during previous years, the university has increased the number of seats available for the BA and BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes. The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance examination, excluding the number of seats allocated through the scholarship test. The course-wise seat availability for the GLAT 2023 is specified below.

  • BA LLB (Hons.): 120 seats
  • BBA LLB (Hons.): 60 seats
  • LLM: 60 seats
