CSIR UGC NET 2024 Exam Pattern📖

CSIR NET question paper is divided into three main sections, Part A, B, & C. Below is the detailed CSIR Net exam pattern.

• Part A of CSIR Net question paper consists of 20 questions of general aptitude. Among these, you are required to answer any 15 questions, carrying two marks each. The total section will carry 30 marks out of 200.
• The General Aptitude questions are to basically examine your teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension skills, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
• Rest, Part B and C of the CSIR NET examination contains the questions based on the subjects, chosen by you from the five subjects, i.e. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences
• The total duration of the examination is three hours.
• The total weightage of the examination is 200 marks.
• There is a negative marking of 25 percent (33 percentfor a few parts) for each wrong answer.
