Anjana, studying for free in the US 🇺🇸 isn’t very straight forward. You would need to apply for multiple scholarships and if you’re eligible and have a great profile / academics / extra academics, you might be able to crack something. But even the chances of 100% scholarship are quite low. I always believe in ‘never say never’. So you should definitely try. Also, if it’s your dream to study in US 🇺🇸, don’t rule out the possibility of getting a loan 💵 instead. You can get loans for the full duration of your course with a moratorium period to ensure your repayments only start after you graduate 🧑‍🎓

Hello Anjana,

Passion such as yours should not be restricted by financial impediments. If you have the flame to study in USA we will help you find the right way. Though no method can guarantee absolutely free education in USA but it doesn’t mean it is not possible. Here are a few ways you can try.

  • Strengthen your candidature. It is not only about exceptional education, try to make your profile stronger with extracurricular activities.
  • Next, prepare early to apply for universities, in this way, you will have plenty of time to make a unique application.
  • Research various undergraduate scholarships beforehand to see which scholarship applies where and then apply for university admissions.
  • Also, as soon as you get your offer letter, apply for the scholarships you have shortlisted.
  • Apart from that, always keep an eye out for affordable universities just in case your scholarship amount comes in late or gets denied.
  • Furthermore, along with university scholarships, you can apply for government scholarships from India as well.
  • There are some external scholarships too, given by organisations and trusts.
  • Therefore, you should apply for multiple scholarships, but remember that in most cases you can only avail of one.
  • Now let's say you did get a scholarship, but it is not fully funded. In that case, you can work while studying abroad to balance your expenses.

This might seem too overwhelming, but one step at a time can make that leap possible for you. Also, always remember that the requirements for scholarships are already set and by not comprising on those you will most likely land on a scholarship to study in USA.
