There are different exams and requirements for B.Com and MBA abroad. Let’s start with B.Com since you will have to complete your Bachelor’s first. There are two major exams that you will need to sit for in order to pursue a B.Com abroad namely, SAT or ACT and one of the English proficiency tests that include IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc. Once you have completed your B.Com, your admission to the MBA will require one of the English Proficiency test scores as well as one of the exams between the GMAT and GRE.

Now let’s have a look at the documents required to gain admission in MBA programs abroad. There is not much difference between the documents required for B.Com and MBA. However, we have mentioned what’s exclusive to each case.

• Passport
• English proficiency test scores
• Test results (SAT or ACT for BCom and GRE or GMAT for MBA)
• Academic transcripts of last qualifications (10th, 12th and graduation too in case of MBA)
• Statement of Purpose

• Proof of work experience (in case of MBA)
• Proof of finances and University acceptance letter (when applying for visa)

As you can see MBA abroad requires you to have a few years of experience as well. Worry not, in countries like the USA, UK, Australia etc students get a post-study work visa after completing their studies. You will also get 2-3 years of post-study work visa in which you can look for work and work for the given period of time then and there. You can also come back to India and work here as per your preference.

• After, this make an application calendar for the intakes you want to get admission in and the application deadline of each university as per that.
  
• Sit for the English proficiency tests and other eligibility tests required for admission.
• Also, keep the checklist of documents and scores ready before the deadline. Please note that your scores must match the university requirements.
  
• Apply to the university and wait for their decision.
  
• Once you get an offer letter fulfil the conditions if there are any otherwise proceed with the student visa, accommodation and financing procedures.
