Admission Requirements

There is one more 4U course that must be completed. Grade 11 U Introduction to Computer Science or equivalent is recommended.

Average Cost 

The average cost of University of Waterloo Computer Science courses lies between CAD 45,000-65,000 for the first year. This is approximately 26.6-38.5 lakhs per annum.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Standard XII Mathematics (Standard XII Applied Mathematics is not accepted), a minimum final grade of 90%.
  • Standard XII English.
  • One other Standard XII course, a minimum final grade of 90%.
  • All Standard XII courses, a minimum final grade of 85%.
  • First or Second Division standing in one of the following:
  • All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE.
  • Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE.
  • Other pre-university certificates awarded after 12 years of academic studies.
  • English Language Exams are only necessary if the four most recent years of your studies have not been in English. If you do need an English language exam, you have to meet the following cut-offs:

Scholarships

These are the most famous scholarships for the University fo Waterloo COmputer science course:

  1. Merit Scholarship: Available to students admitted to full-time first-year degree studies at Waterloo and who are beginning post-secondary studies for the first time in September. The scholarship amount is CAD 1,000 (approximately INR 60,000)
  2. International student Entrance Scholarship: Available to international students admitted to the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program. For Mathematics and Computer Science applicants, Results of the Euclid Mathematics Contest and/or Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest may be used to award scholarships.
