What are the UMB's GPA requirements?

A 3.0 GPA is preferred for admission. All applicants, however, are considered based on a comprehensive review of their application. Eligibility is based on degree conferred graduates as of May 31st. You will be disqualified for Fall if you need to attend a summer class. If your total GPA is 2.5 or less, you must submit a GRE or MAT score; GRE or MAT scores are strongly requested for students with GPAs between 2.51 and 2.99.

No, the university provides few courses online (temporarily during the Covid-19 epidemic), but owing to the nature of social work, the majority of classes are held in a classroom. Because students benefit the most from connecting with their peers and lecturers, only a few courses are available online.

Although foundation students submit a field application with their resume and essays outlining their experience and expectations, the Field Office is in charge of allocating the placement. Students in their Advanced year fill out a field application and select their top three placement options, and the Field Office works hard to place them in one of their top selections.
