Established in the mid-twentieth century, University College Birmingham is a technical college attracting students all over the world. UCB is especially regarded for its profession-centred education and training by employers and industry. The university is affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Chartered Management Institute.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
The university has 4 campuses namely Summer Row, McIntyre House, Richmond House, and the new Moss House. All of our campuses, and the Link which is our dedicated student support services building, are within walking distance of one another in the heart of the city centre. Additionally, UCB’S commitment to providing professional training and innovation is regarded all over the world. Its undergraduate courses are recognized by the University of Birmingham and have practical experience in professional courses in both the Higher Education and Further Education areas with a growing arrangement of apprenticeships.

The university is ranked the third most targeted university by top employers in 2018-19 because of its determination to provide the best facilities to students. UCB provides £100 million on a comprehensive package of upgrades that will secure the reputation for excellence. It is also home to some well-known people associated such as Jordan Broome (Debut appearance at the FISU World University Games), Gabriela Kratochvílová (Czech Model), Laura Welsh (Singer), and Ian F Walker (Public Health Consultant).
