South China Agricultural University was founded in 1909. It is located in Guangzhou, China. The university is a public education organization located in Guangzhou. The university was built by merging the Pest Pathology University, Agriculture University, and the Department of Veterinary Medicine and then converted into one university, i.e. the South China Agriculture University. It is considered a national key university. SCAU performs two tasks: Research base and Teaching. Campus – South China Agricultural university’s campus is located in Guangzhou district of Tianhe. The main campus covers an area more than 4407 mu and the research base and teaching department areas cover more than 3863 mu. In 1953, the library was also established. After some years of development, the south china agriculture university’s library was also developed and was split into 4 library branches: the east branch, the main library, the college library, and the Yuejin branch. SCAU is a wide co-educational organization. As being an old university, they have some special admission policy in which students need to pass the entrance exam. They also welcome international students every year. The university has been divided into 26 departments and there are more than 40,000-44,999 country students enrolled, and 1,385 international students are also there. The university offers many different courses and high study degrees such as – 95 undergraduate degrees, 107 Master's degrees, and 60 Ph.D. degrees. They also provide 9 special master degrees.
