The University of Ryerson is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The university was founded in 1948. Initially it was named as Ryerson Institute of technology. Further, it was named as the Ryerson polytechnic institute, Ryerson Polytechnic University and then finally it got its recent name Ryerson University. It has its own sports team named as Ryerson Rams.
