Normandy University is known as the association of universities and higher education institutions that run operations in the entire lower and upper Normandy region. Under the Communautés D'universités et D'établissements (ComUE), the university was established in 2013 and has been ranked amongst top higher education institutions in France. It officially began in 2014 and comprises of a plethora of academic institutions situated in Normandy. These institutions are the University of Caen Lower Normandy, the University of Rouen, University of Le Havre, Institute National Des Sciences Appliqués de Rouen, Ecole Nationale Superieure linguistics de Caen and Ecole Nationale Superieure D’architecture de Normande. Further, the University of Rouen is amongst the largest schools in the association and has a student population of 27,000. Further, there are several Engineering and Public Architecture schools in the university. The University of Caen Lower Normandy is the oldest school in the association and was founded in 1432. The association covers a multifarious range of degree programs in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Medicine and Engineering and also provides short-term diplomas and certificate programs in an array of specializations.
