The New York Institute of Technology was started in 1955 in New York. 64 years after its inception, the institute now has branches all over the world, including China and the Middle East. NYIT has received many National and International accreditations consisting of The Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Vancouver branch of NYIT offers numerous programs in Cyber Security, Finance, Management, Instructional Technology and Energy management. Its Master of Science in Information, Network and Computer Security (MS-INCS) is the most popular course amongst students. The institute has its own innovation lab which conducts research in fields like 3D Printing and Design, Electronics and Programming, Multimedia Production, and Virtual Reality.
