Founded in 1934, MiraCosta College is among the public community colleges in San Diego. The college boasts of two different campuses in two locations; one in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, and the other in Oceanside, both in California. Initially, the classrooms were started in a single wing at the Oceanside High School, which included 122 students along, with 20 faculty members. Currently, there are 14773 students in total studying in this college. Out of the total number of students studying in the college. MiraCosta College educates the students with popular subjects like Applied and Pure Sciences, Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Health and Medicine, Creative Arts and Design, Travel and Hospitality, and Business and Management. There is also a department of international languages, psychology, dance, and administration to justice in the college. Along with studies, the college also helps the students with other activities like sports, music, and other activities for extra-circulative activities. There is a men’s and women’s team for basketball and soccer on the campus with name Spartans with school colors of white, green, and blue. There are online courses available from the college for distance learning.
