Ranked amongst the renowned national universities of Japan, Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT) is located in Fukuoka on the small island of Kyushu. The institute is mainly a research university and also offers an array of undergraduate and graduate courses in Science and Technology. Established in 1907, it is a public institution and its average endowment value is estimated 600 million Japanese Yuan. It was founded by Matsumoto Kenjiro and is spread over a land area of 200 acres. Apart from the main campus at Kyushu, this institution has two campuses in Kitakyushu and Luke. At present, more than 30,000 students are enrolled in several courses at the Kyushu Institute of Technology, ranging from graduate level and post-graduate level programs. The institute is home to more than 600 faculty members including teachers and scholars from all across the globe.
