Established in 1866, Davenport University is a private non-profit university considered amongst the oldest higher education institutions in Michigan, United States. It hosts nearly 7,000 full-time and continuing education students across its undergraduate and graduate programs offered through both on-campus and online. It is spread out across 14 locations in the Michigan state, for instance, the Grand Rapids Cook Centre, Detroit-Schoolcraft College and Detroit-Macomb Community College amongst others including the Global Campus (online) campus geared towards online education. Its academic offerings include more than 60 programs which are conducted through its four specialised and distinguished colleges, namely, the recently-inaugurated College of Urban Education, Donald W. Maine College of Business, College of Technology and College of Health Professions. It has an impressive graduate employment rate of 95%, implying that 95 out its 100 graduates have either been hired or joined higher courses within six months of graduation.
