History, Affiliations, and Rankings

Bukovinian State Medical University is one of the biggest higher instructive foundations in Chernivtsi. It is a cutting-edge multi-profile instructive establishment of the IV authorization level, included in the overall register of the WHO, Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, Italy), and the Association of the Carpathian Region Universities that gives qualified preparation as indicated by the evaluating arrangement of schooling. Infrastructure, Campuses, and Courses

Bukovinian State Medical University has Lecture halls, Classrooms, Educational-Practical Pharmacy, and Laboratories equipped with Modern Technical Aids to ensure Educational processes and Scientific Work, and linked up with Internet Facilities. BSMU Library funding for millions of educational volumes, scientific volumes, medical volumes, literature, and fiction volumes.  BSMU has Computer Classes for Self-Education and Testing the Student's Knowledge. BSMU got 4413 Students. For now, 4374 students studying University at present, and also it has 1675 foreign Students from 32 different countries. The college has 15 instructive structures, an advanced library, an awesome present-day recreation place, a University dental focus, instructive useful physicists, sport mind-boggling, the Palace of culture and rest "Academichny": a theatre, day camp "Zdorovya". Clinical divisions are situated on the foundations of 33 clinical preventive and drug foundations of Chernivtsi.

Bukovinian State Medical University is one of Chernivtsi's main higher education institutions. It is a modern multi-profile educational institution of the IV accreditation level, listed in the WHO general register, Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, Italy), and the Association of Carpathian Region Universities, which provides qualified training in accordance with the education grading system. Currently, there are 324 Candidates of Science, 78 Doctors of Science, 66 Professors, and more than 193 Assistant Professors (Ph. D.) Several alumni of the institute have been employed by renowned hospitals. Some of the notable alumni are Taras Boychuk, Larisa Sydorchuck, and Oleksandr Ivashchuck.

Student Diversity and Visiting Companies

Students from different countries come here to study. University is very diverse and so many students from different places come to study. The institution today has 5800 students, 1800 of whom are international residents from 32 countries. They have been taught since 1994, and English has been used as the language of instruction since 2004. Foreign students from India, Somalia, Nigeria, Ghana, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Sudan, the United States, and other nations are expanding year after year. The university's teaching staff includes 103 Doctors of Medical Science and 422 Candidates of Medical Science, as well as 1 Corresponding Member of the Ukrainian Academy of Pedagogical Science, 16 Honored Doctors of Ukraine, 2 Honored Scientists, 2 Honored Educationalists of Ukraine, 66 Professors, and 203 Associate Professors. 166 members of the staff have received the highest doctor's grade, with 54 receiving the first grade and 48 receiving the second grade. 32 BMSU clinical department employees work as regional out-of-staff members and consultants at the Chernivtsi Regional State Authority's Health Department. Several graduates of the institute have been employed by renowned companies such as Maternity Home and of Chernivtsi, Regional children’s clinical hospital, Chernivtsi regional clinical hospital, Emergency Rescue Clinical Municipal Hospital, and Chernivtsi regional children’s clinical hospital.
