Anglia Ruskin University located in Cambridge, UK is a public university that was established in 1858. The university provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses across a wide variety of disciplines. In addition, it also provides online courses to enable distance learning for international students. Owing to its excellent academic facilities, Anglia Ruskin University World Rankings are among the top universities. The roots of the university can be traced back to the year 1858 when John Ruskin founded the Cambridge School of Art. The Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology was later on merged with the Essex Institute of Higher Education merged with to form Anglia Polytechnic. It was in 2005 that the university was renamed Anglia Ruskin University.
Campus, Infrastructure and Courses
Anglia Ruskin University has 4 campuses located in Chelmsford, Cambridge, Peterborough, and London. Its flagship Cambridge campus has high-tech clinical skills labs, which also include mock hospital areas. It was in 1992 that the initially based in the city center, the Chelmsford campus moved to a new location. The main highlight of the riverside campus is the School of Medicine, set up in 2018. The Guild House Peterborough campus, was established in the year 2011 and specializes in social and healthcare courses. This campus is dedicated to training professionals of the corresponding field. The university offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses across a wide variety of disciplines, keeping in mind the diverse requirements.
