A top 100 University in Denmark, Aarhus University is the largest and second oldest university in Denmark, that was founded on September 11, 1928. What began with 64 students enrolled in “University Studies in Jutland,” is today is a dynamic, modern and international University educating 38,000 students from worldwide. Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

Aarhus University has its main campus located in central Aarhus, encircling the University Park and at the heart of Scandinavia. It has two other campuses at Herning and Emdrup along with research centers across the country. The infrastructure of the campus includes a wide variety of buildings spanning a large area. Each building has been constructed with the same yellow brick and roofing tile. This makes the whole campus have a unified appearance with common design motifs. Aarhus is academically structured into 5 Faculties, namely Arts, Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Health and Business, and Social Sciences. These faculties are sub-divided into 25 academic departments that collectively offer 113 Master’s degrees out of which 59 are taught in English. The University offers a combined Masters+PhD program which helps students in streamlining their courses. Three Bachelor’s programs offered at Aarhus University are taught in English, which are - Cognitive Science, Economics and Business Administration, and Global Management and Manufacturing.
