Worcester State University is a Liberal Arts and Science university located in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts. It was founded in the year 1874. It was initially founded with a mission to train teachers in the state and became one of the best universities in Worcester. The university is spread across 58 acres of land surrounded by woods and wetlands and slopes east into the hillside thus offering a mesmerizing view. The university has a total undergraduate enrollment of 5,380 students. WSUs campus houses four buildings which have academic faculties, research centers, administrative offices, theatres, studios, student service organization, residence halls, and sports department. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and other professional degree courses across several disciplines. The university offers internship programs and workshops to students to not only make them competent but to also give them exposure to industrial work.
