Pearson Test of English (PTE) Exam
Pearson Test of English or PTE is conducted by the Pearson PLC Group. Educational institutions around the globe accept this English language proficiency test as a medium for getting information about the potential candidate’s skills. So basically you have to have good speaking skills in English to sustain yourself in the respective country.
However, there are no specified eligibility criteria for age and highest educational qualification defined by the conducting company Pearson. However, it is suggested that the candidate be 16 years old with at least a 12th degree in hand. It takes two hours to complete this test which consists of day-to-day exercises to understand the student’s proficiency in the English language.

The conducting company of the PTE examination has not cited anything about the maximum and minimum PTE eligibility criteria regarding the age and highest level of education. Therefore, the above-mentioned criteria are the basic requirements depending on the pattern for years.
Note: The only PTE eligibility criteria for candidates of age between 16-18 years of age is to get consent from parents.
Education qualifications for applicants are not specified by the conducting company of the English test. No matter if you are someone who has just cleared your 10th or 12th examination, you’re good to take your PTE examination. Depending on the most common educational degree, it is recommended to complete at least your high school education.
In order to prove your identity, you only need to get a valid and authentic proof. It could include your driving license, Aadhaar card, voter identification, or anything of that sort.
PTE is an English language proficiency test that makes it obvious for the candidate to have basic speaking skills in the English language. If you are going to study outside India it is important that you know their language to sustain yourself.
