What is loo? 

Loo refers to a hot, dry, and dusty wind that blows across the northwestern parts of India and Pakistan during the summer months, especially from April to June. It is a strong, gusty, and scorching wind that originates from the Thar Desert and raises the temperature significantly in regions like Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh.
