The Wien International Scholarship Program (WISP) was established in 1958. The scholarship is one kind of program bringing in students from all around the globe for higher education. This is also an initiative to engage students to be active global citizens. The scholarship provider believes in giving opportunities to students who are willing to make their careers in their chosen graduation fields.

The Vision of Wien International Scholarship Program 

The main vision of the Wien International Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to students who are meritorious and have excellent academic records. The entire Wien family, Lawrence A. and Mae L. Wein are still known as dedicated students of the scholarship alumni who are serving as leaders on the Brandeis University campus and all around the world in the areas related to science, politics, arts, business, humanities and so much more!

Eligibility Criteria 

There are a few eligibility criteria for the scholarship program that every student must follow through. The details about the scholarship criteria are briefly described in the pointers below. 

• The program is offered to exceptionally talented applicants who have a strong academic background. 
• Students must have a strong background in their extracurricular activities and also leadership skills. 
• Students must be involved in the community around them as well and have experience with the same.
• The applicant must be an International Student. 
• The student must also have an offer letter from Bachelor’s Course from Brandeis University to avail the scholarship. 

Application Process 

The students who receive the offer letter from the university will go through a background check and they will be selected accordingly. Students can get to know more about the scholarship program by following the steps given below.

Awards

The students who get selected for this scholarship program will be awarded financial support from Brandies University. Applicants will be awarded after the complete review of documents and verification by the authorities.

• Applicants who apply must have strong contributions to extracurricular activities outside and inside their classroom during their schooling.
