Study in USA: 5 Florida International University Scholarships to Apply for this Month 

Florida International University offers several scholarships to international students. In August, the university provides five scholarships that overseas students can also apply for. Each scholarship has its eligibility criteria. The benefits also vary depending on the scholarship type. The Florida International University scholarships requires application. You can check the deadline of the respective scholarship to apply on time. The University ranks =547 globally (as per QS World Rankings 2024). 

Janine Ella Ackerman Scholarship

The Janine Ella Ackerman Scholarship is available to students enrolled or accepted to the university for admission. This scholarship is solely for students seeking admission to the School of Hospitality. You must have secured a minimum  GPA of 3.27 (entering the graduate program), and must work within the hospitality industry to be eligible for this scholarship. International students with an eligible visa can receive an award up to USD 1,500.

Executive MBA Program Scholarship

The Executive MBA Program Scholarship is available to students starting their studies in Fall (August) 2024. You must maintain a good academic standing to receive this scholarship. Moreover, you must have received admission as a degree-seeking graduate student in the Executive MBA program. International students with an eligible visa status can apply. The benefit is an amount up to $8,000.00.

Master of Science in Finance Need Scholarship

As the name suggests, this scholarship is available to students who have been recently admitted into the Master of Science in Finance Program at FIU program to start (in August) 2024. Those who are already enrolled in the program are ineligible to apply. You will receive only one award of $5,000.00 per year. Moreover, you are required to maintain your academic standing. International students with an eligible visa status can apply.

Facilities Management Books and Supplies Scholarship

Facilities Management employees (at least 1 year of full-time service) and their immediate family members are given this scholarship. The intent of this scholarship to to assist with the cost of books and supplies. You must be in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or more) to receive this scholarship. The scholarship amount varies. Therefore, it has not been provided.

Earlene and Albert Dotson Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students pursuing a STEM-based major. However, neither of your parents should have a college degree. You also must have a financial need as demonstrated by your 2024-2025 FAFSA. Moreover, you need a minimum 3,0 GPA to apply. The beneficiaries would receive an award up to 2000.
