Study in UK: UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships 2024 Applications Open

The University College London (UCL) is offering 33 undergraduate scholarships for the academic year 2024-25. Out of these, 3 scholarships are only available to Indian students.  23 awards cover the full tuition fee of the selected students, and the remaining 10 awards cover the tuition fees along with maintenance allowance. The scholarships are given based on financial need. Interested students from low-income backgrounds wanting to study at the UCL can apply for the same. The deadline for the scholarship is on  Monday 22 April 2024 (5 pm BST). The declaration of the scholarship results is on 5 June 2024.

UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships 2024 Eligibility 

The eligibility requirements for the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships are as follows:

• The applicant must pay to be eligible for an overseas fee rate
• Moreover, the student should come from a low-income background. That is, the household income must be £25,000 or less.. A household income of £42,875 or less is also considered
• Additionally, the student must submit an application form for a full-time undergraduate degree program at the university for the year 2024-25

UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships 2024 Benefits 

The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship 2024 benefit is as follows:

• A total of 33 scholarships are available (3 for solely Indian students)
• 10 of these scholarships cover the entire tuition fees of the beneficiaries
• Similarly, the rest 23 scholarships cover the tuition fees of the application. Moreover, a maintenance allowance is also provided for the selected students. 

The scholarship is awarded based on financial need. Although students do not require an offer of admission to apply for the scholarship, they need to have their fee status confirmed. The UCL admissions team may only confirm the fee status of students before making an admission offer, so it might take some time to receive confirmation of the fee status.

Interested students can log in to Portico and enter their credentials. Then, select the active application’ and choose the funding option. Next, the students can check their eligibility for the funding, and select the scholarship scheme they want to apply. The scholarship application has to be submitted before the deadline.
