Study in Ireland: 7 National College of Ireland International Scholarships for 2024/25

The National College of Ireland has an extensive portfolio of scholarships and bursaries for international applicants. The scholarships aim to reward excellence and promote diversity in the university. Generally, the scholarships are offered as tuition fee discounts for students. Masters Academic Merit Scholarships

The Masters Academic Merit Scholarship is available to students who have received an offer letter to study a master’s course at the university in Septemeber. The scholarship amount is between €2,000 – €4,000. Moreover, no application is necessary. 

Higher Diploma Scholarship

The Higher Diploma Scholarships are available to students starting a  Higher Diploma in Science in Computing course in September. The scholarship benefit is an amount of €4,000. However, the student must have received an offer letter from the university. 

Entrepreneurship Scholarship

The entrepreneurship scholarship is available to those enrolling in an MSc in Entrepreneurship course. The scholarship benefit is an amount of €5,000 for the September intake and €7,000 for the 2025 January intake. Just like the previous scholarships, no application is necessary. 

AI for Business Scholarship

The AI for Business Scholarship is available to students studying an MSc in Artificial Intelligence for Business course in September  2024 or  January 2025. The scholarship benefit is amount of €5,000, and €7,000 respectively. Moreover, no application is necessary. 

Undergraduate Academic Scholarships

The Undergraduate academic scholarship is available to students joining a full programme from year 1. The scholarship benefit is an amount of €2,000 towards the tuition fee. However, the student must have received an offer letter to study at NCI. No application is necessary.

Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students enrolling in a  BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education and Care course starting in September. The scholarship benefit is an amount of €4,000 per year towards the tuition fee. Moreover, no application is necessary.

Sports Scholarship

The sports scholarships are available to students enrolling in a full-time undergraduate course at the university. Additionally, the student must have the potential to reach a very high level of performance to compete at the National, International, Interprovincial or inter-county level. The scholarship benefit is an amount of €2,000 towards tuition fees. In this case, scholarship applications are necessary.
