Study in China: 6 HKU International Scholarship for Faulty of Arts Students 

The Univerisity of Hong Kong (HKU) offers several international scholarships for Faulty of Arts students. These scholarships will cover up to the tuition fees of the selected students. You do not need to apply for these HKU scholarships. Applications are considered automatically when an offer letter is received. The HKU scholarships are available to students who meet the eligibility criteria. The scholarships listed here are recurrent. Hence, there is no application deadline. The University of Hong Kong ranks 17th (as per QS World Ranking). Therefore, it is one of the best universities in the world.

HKU Entrance Scholarships for Students with Indian Board Examinations

This scholarship is for Indian applicants who meet the eligibility criteria:

Indian students who have secured a 97% for the India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination or the Indian School Certificate are eligible. The scholarship would cover up to the full tuition fees of the student. However, only undergraduate applicants are eligible. The selection committee would shortlist and nominate eligible students on a rolling basis.

HKU Entrance Scholarships for International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Students

International students admitted to an HKU undergraduate program and have secured a 44 or above in IB Diploma would receive this scholarship. This scholarship also covers up to full tuition fees of the student.

HKU Foundation Scholarship for President’s Scholars

This HKU award is available to top newly admitted students every year. You must be enrolled in an undergraduate program to receive this award. The scholarship would cover up to the full tuition fees of the student. Moreover, you can receive accommodation and living allowances and an Enrichment Scholarship.

HKU Scholarships for Future Leaders

Outstanding undergraduate applicants from economies in transition, and have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to HK can receive this scholarship. You can receive a full scholarship and more. However, shortlisted applicants would have to present additional documents.

HKU Entrance Scholarships for GCE A-Level and International Advanced Level Qualified Students

International students who have secured 5A* in one academic year for GCE A-Level or International A-Level qualifications can become eligible for this scholarship. The selection committee will nominate the eligible applicants on a rolling basis. However, you should take subjects in 1 academic year (September to August). Moreover, it should not include language subjects. The benefit is up to a full tuition fee discount.

HKU Entrance Scholarships for Outstanding Students (Other Qualifications Holders)

This merit-based scholarship is given to undergraduate students or students enrolled in university collaborative programmes. The selection committee will nominate the students on a rolling basis. The benefit is up to a full tuition fee discount.
