The University of Windsor Automatic Open Entrance Scholarship is available to a full-time secondary school student with academic excellence. The applicant is considered for the scholarship regardless of the selected prorgam. The scholarship offers depend on the best six final and interim Grade 12 U/M level qualifying courses (or equivalent) available in May or CEGEP courses. However, the student must not have any previous attendance at a post-secondary institution. The scholarship amount can be $1,000, $10,000, or $16,000.No application is necessary. Moreover, the award is renewable.
Bill Eansor Award
The Bill Eansor Awad is available to 1 undergraduate student entering the university. The benefit is an amount of f $10,000 ($2,500 x 4 years). However, this scholarship is not tenable with other major awards. Applicants must have received acceptance into the university, registered full-time, and attained a minimum score of 80% to be eligible, Students can make an application through the Student Awards and Financial Aid office at the University of Windsor.
International Student Awards
The University of Windsor annually awards the International Student Award to four students. The scholarship, valued at $500 each, recognizes international students who excel academically and socially at the university and demonstrate leadership skills through active involvement in campus activities. However, to be eligible students must demonstrate a minimum cumulative GPA of 8.0 and financial need.
