The Univerisity of Ottawa offers International English Scholarships to students from India, Africa, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, and South Korea. The scholarships are provided to recognise the diversity of the student community at the university. Therefore, at the beginning of the fall 2024 term, international undergraduate students from these communities will benefit from the award. Students from India, Africa, and Bangladesh will automatically taken into consideration for the Entrance or Excellence renewable, average-based scholarships when they enrol in a UG program in English. On the other hand, Chinese or South Korean students are given Excellence scholarships. The scholarship benefit is a tuition fee reduction. To receive the scholarships, international students must meet the eligibility criteria.
