Study in Australia: UWA Global Excellence Scholarship Available for UG & PG students

The University of Western Australia (UWA) is offering scholarships to meritorious students across the globe. The University grants the scholarships to both undergraduate and postgraduate students who apply for particular courses.

Undergraduate students receive a scholarship amount of AUD$48,000 for a duration of 4 years, while postgraduate students receive an amount of AUD$24,000 for 2 years on eligible courses.

Global Excellence Scholarship Eligibility 

UWA welcomes applications from Indian students. However, the CBSE students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

• Must meet the English language proficiency requirements of the University 
• Achieve points required for admission to the university.
• Moreover, the students must satisfy the subject eligibility requirements of the chosen course and major.
• Additionally, the student must be willing to commence the undergraduate/postgraduate program in 2023.

Global Excellence Scholarship Benefits 

The GES benefits to International students are as follows:

• The university grants up to AUD $48,000 (over 4 years) to undergraduate students who commence eligible courses in 2023.
• Grants up to AUD $36,000 (over 3 years) for eligible undergraduate courses commencing in 2023.
• Grants up to AUD $24,000 (over 2 years) for eligible postgraduate courses commencing in 2023.

GES Excluded Courses 

The GES excludes several courses, such as the Assured Pathway to Medicine, Assured Pathway to Pharmacy, and Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine, for undergraduate students.

Similarly, 21 postgraduate courses are excluded . For example, Master of Pharmacy, Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology, and Graduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology.

The scholarship comittee automatically considers international students for the scholarship. However, an offer letter from UWA is mandatory. For applications, candidates can visit the official website of the university.
