As per the new legislation laid out by the Australian government, it will be a criminal offence to force student visa holders or migrant employees into violating their visa conditions for work. New rules are mend to empower overseas student workers without risking their visa status.

Furthermore, the employer will also be responsible for making sure that the student visa holder, working in the country meets their visa conditions, without violating the rules. Otherwise, the employer will be penalized for the same.
These new rules will ensure that the students working in Australia while studying will get equal pay as any other citizen of the country. This will ensure the workers will get paid equally without getting exploited themselves to earn money.
