Study in Australia: 2024 Global Curtin Scholarships – Merit Scholarship Applications Open

Curtin University offers  Global Curtin Scholarships or the Merit Scholarship to high-achieving international students for 2024. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students. This merit-based scholarship is available to students enrolling in several faculties. They are –

• Faculty of Business and Law
• Faculty of Humanities
• Faculty of Health Sciences
• Faculty of Science & Engineering {Science courses, Engineering courses, and Western Australian School of Mines (WASM)}

The scholarship benefit is a tuition fee discount of 25 (up to 200 credit points) The discount is given for their first-year studies. Application is not necessary for this scholarship. However, the scholarship would close on  15/10/2024.

Merit Scholarship Eligibility Requirements 

The Curtin University Merit Scholarship is as follows:

• You must be an international fee-paying and non-sponsored student 
• Moreover, you must have either met or exceeded the cut-off score secured by the university for the scholarship.
• Additionally, you must have enrolled in an eligible course of study. All Postgraduate coursework degree programs and undergraduate degree programs are eligible for this award. 
• However, students enrolling in a  Bachelor of Surgery, or Bachelor of Medicine course are ineligible.
• You must be beginning your studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses  for the 1st time in 2024

Merit Scholarship Application Process 

You do not need to apply for the Curtin University Scholarship. However, you need to apply for the eligible course and meet the eligibility requirements.  The steps for the same are as follows:

• First, apply for the Curtin course either through the University’s registered agents or by sending an online application directly to the university.
• The admission committee will assess your application for the Global Curtin Merit Scholarship.
• You will receive a supplementary letter and a Letter of Offer
• The supplementary letter will confirm whether you will receive the scholarship or not.

To maintain your scholarship, ensure that you remain enrolled as an international student for the course duration. Additionally, maintaining enrollment in the initial course and major course of study is important.
