The UNESCO World Heritage Residence Scholarship is open to cultural creators and researchers all over the world. The World Heritage Scholarship aims to engage individuals with knowledge about the World Heritage list and an interest in linking the World Heritage Site Decorated Farmhouses of Halsingland with other sites by using cultural, artistic, and research-based approaches. The scholarship offers a benefit of €4500 grant. International applicants from all over the world can apply for the same before 15 February 2024.

The eligibility criteria for the UNESCO World Heritage Residence Scholarship is as follows:

- Last year, more than 350 artists, researchers, and cultural artists from 60 countries have applied for the scholarship. They showcased their unique projects in research, conservation, virtual reality, film, audio, dance, photography, communication, storytelling, sculpture, handicraft, and teaching.

The benefits of the UNESCO World Heritage Scholarship is as follows:
- Living in 1-2 World Heritage farms for 1 month
- Additionally, the 4500 EUR grant is given to handle the project
