The United Kingdom is seeing a massive inflow of international students from India, Pakistan, and Nigeria. A vast chunk of these students has taken seats at the University of Bradford. This has resulted in an express filling of seats for international students at this University in some courses that had to close applications for September 2023. These courses included International Business and Management, Social Work, and Human Resource Management. India holds the top position in sending out its brightest heads to this University.
Reason Behind The Outstanding Popularity
The University of Bradford has an ‘outstanding’ reputation because of its teachers and the quality of teaching delivered as claimed by a spokesperson of the University. The spokesperson also included that the efforts made toward the international students to help them achieve their career goals are what made the University rise up to this repute. The numbers speak it all. Especially in the postgraduate courses, the University has received a huge resonance with international students. There were more than 1,800 international students in the academic year 2020 – ‘21.
The spokesperson from the University of Bradford also mentioned that their marketing strategies are designed for inclusion and diversity inside the campus. Their initiatives have spoken through the massive interest in India where students are always looking for great teaching and immersive learning.
Other UK Universities Moving Towards Closing Applications
Most UK Universities keep their applications open for Autumn intake till September. However, owing to the immense flood of applications already within January 2023, some Universities have started giving deadlines for applications as early as February 2023.
Oxford Brookes University is all set to close applications to its Autumn 2023 postgraduate courses because of the upstream. Courses include International Business Management, Marketing, and Finance. For international students from India applications are open till the April end among some other countries: Bangladesh, Nigeria, Ghana, and Pakistan. Other countries have the deadline open till May 31, 2023.
To avoid over-recruitment, the University of Salford’s Business School has paused all of its applications. Nancy Cook, the Associate Director of International Development, has reasoned that the University is looking forward to opening the application window for the September intake around the second half of the year. This was to ensure that all legitimate international students have the right exposure and experience while learning at the University.
Thus, Indian students who are looking forward to studying abroad in the UK should start gearing up their applications so that they are in time to have their seats reserved at their desired Universities.
