The Times Higher Education has released the World University Rankings 2025. As per these rankings, the University of Sheffield ranks among the top 100 universities in the world. The University ranks 98th worldwide and 12th in the UK. These rankings reflect the dedication to academic excellence, incredible student experience, and groundbreaking research. Live Sessions for New International Students
The University of Sheffield has introduced a live session for international, and domestic students. These sessions are open to anyone wanting to seek admission to the university. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students can enrol on the online sessions. The sessions are available throughout the year and take place every Wednesday. The sessions cover topics such as accommodation in the UK, extracurricular activities, and student societies.

New Course: Master of Pharmacy Degree
Starting from September 2025, students can apply for a new undergraduate Master of Pharmacy degree program. This is a 4-year course that emphasises academic learning, practical training, and experience in clinical settings to meet healthcare demands. Moreover, those who enrol in this course can take part in a social accountability placement drive (participated by community and charitable organizations)
