Study Abroad: Deadline Approaching for Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna: Apply by 31st March 2024

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna is an international scholarship scheme launched for the Department of Technical Education students. The scheme aims to financially support the e Economic Backward Class enrolled in Diploma / Degree / Postgraduate Professional courses through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition and exam fees. However, the scholarship is only available to students from Maharashtra. The scholarship applications are currently open. The deadline for the 2023-24 scholarship application is on 31st March 2024.

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna Eligibility

The eligibility requirements for Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna are as follows:

• Must be an Indian citizen who is domiciled in Maharashtra State
• Must be a” Bonafide Student of the Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical courses. That is, diploma, graduation, or post-graduation degree as mentioned in GR
• Addtiionally, the applicant must enroll through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
• Those enrolling in a Deemed University or a Private University are not eligible
• Must not apply for any other scholarship or stipend 
• Moreover, only 2 children from one family are eligible to apply (for the current academic year)
• The applicant must demonstrate at least m 50 % attendance in the previous semester (except for fresh admission to college)
• Additionally, the total income of the family cannot exceed 8 lakh
• Candidate should not have a gap of 2 or more years during the duration of the course 
• Students who have been admitted under the General category and the SEBC category are eligible for the scholarship.

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna: Documents 

The following documents are necessary to apply for the  Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna. Interested students must submit these documents for a successful application.

• The student must submit a mark sheet of the 10th standard (S.S.C) and onwards
• Must provide a domicile certificate of the state of Maharashtra
• Additionally, the applicant must provide a family annual income certificate
• An undertaking has to be submitted stating that in the current year, there are not more than 2 beneficiaries from the family
• CAP-related documents 
• Submit Proof of biometric attendance (Interface UIDAI)
