Candidates can apply for PRTD if they satisfy the below-given eligibility criteria:
- They should be permanent residents
- They must be outside of Canada and should have the intention to return by bus, train, airline, or boart
- They should not possess a valid PR card proving their PR status
Application Process for a PRTD

Processing Time of PRTD
Each country has different processing times. Generally, processing PRTDs may take up to 6 or 8 weeks to process the application. However, it may take even more than 8 weeks.
