Study Abroad: 2nd UK India TOEFL Scholarship Applications Open: Apply By 15th July 2024

ETS TOEFL® and the National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) have announced the UK Indian TOEFL scholarship. A total of 10 scholarships are available to Indian applicants. Moreover, both undergraduate and postgraduate students wanting to study at a UK university can apply. Applications are selected by a Panel of NISAU and UK University representatives. The selected students would receive a scholarship amount of INR 2.5 Lakh. The scholarship amount is supposed to cover the college expenses. For example, tuition fees, housing deposits, book expenses, and transportation costs, among others. The last date to apply for the scholarship is 15th July 2024.

UK India TOEFL Scholarship 2nd Edition Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility criteria for the 2nd UK Indian TOEFL scholarships are as follows:

• You must secure a TOEFL test score of 75 out of 120
• Additionally, you must have received an offer letter from a UK university
• You must be enrolling in a full time postgraduate or undergraduate degree programe ( Fall 2024/ Spring 2025 intake)
• Moreover, you must be willing to represent yourself as a TOEFL Student Ambassador in Confrences, Events, etc
• You must also be willing to contribute to the marketing and the promotional activities. For example, creating video testimonials, and writing blogs
• Similarly, you must participate in international student events and must engage with TOEFL as a valued member of the global alumni community

UK India TOEFL Scholarship 2nd Edition Application Process

The UK India TOEFL scholarship 2nd edition application process is as follows:

• First, submit the ETS ID to start the application
• Those who have secured 75 or more in the TOEFL examination will have to fill in the details such as the 12th grade/graduation score, write an essay on ‘Creating a social impact with a UK-based Education’ (500 words), and highlight their personal and academic achievements
• The selection committee will assess your application details., This includes your personal achievements, essay, academic eligibility, and completeness of supporting documentation 
• It is important to ensure that you have submitted your application before the deadline-15th July 2024
• When selected you will receive a notification of the same

The selected 10 students will receive a notification from ETS India. The declaration of the results will take place on 15th August 2024.
