Next Genius Scholarship Program: An Overview 

The Next Genius scholarship program is for high-performing students from middle-income countries such as India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, or Bangladesh. About 100 scholarships are granted each year as part of the program. On average, the scholars get around  USD 40,000 in scholarships! Moreover, they can continue their scholarship for the next year (meaning its renewable) as long as they maintain the required grades. As per the scholarship-granting history, almost every student was able to get their scholarship renewed for up to 4 academic years.

The Next Genius Scholarship Program Eligibility Criteria

To obtain the scholarship, you must meet the scholarship requirements. The eligibility criteria are listed below. Ensure that you meet the same requirements before applying.

1. You must be in your 12th standard (or in a gap year)
2. You are a citizen of India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, or Bangladesh.
3. Moreover, you must have the financial capacity to travel to the destination country to study abroad.
4. You must also have funds to cover your living expenses to stay in the country during your studies 

Foreign nationals who are studying in any of the eligible countries can also apply.

Benefits of Next Genius Scholarship Program

This scholarship offers both partial or full scholarships. You will receive either of the two if selected. The exact scholarship obtained depends on the strength of your application. The scholarship only covers the tuition fees. This means you have to take care of the living expenses in the USA or the relevant destination country.

The scholarship selection is usually based on a profile and an interview that you have to give after online registration. Generally, the following students are preferred for the:

1. Changemakers: Students who demonstrate the intention to return to their country and bring change.
2. Creative problem-solving skills: They must be good in both academic and non-academic areas
3. Interest in studying abroad: Interested in studying at any one of the scholarship partner colleges.
4. Other skills: Such as communication skills, cooperation, and collaboration skills

Application Process for the Next Genius Scholarship:

The application process is simple. You can apply for the Next Generation Scholarship Program by following the steps below:

1. First, visit the official website of Next Genius
2. Thereafter, choose the option to apply for the scholarship
3. This will redirect you to the Google form, which you have to fill out
4. Before filling out the application form, you are required to make an INR 700 fee payment for registration.
5. Thereafter, you can fill in your details in the form, like your citizenship, name, email address, and the course you intend to study
6. Once you have submitted your form, you will be considered for the scholarship
