MCAT Entrance Results
In order to generate an MCAT scorecard, the candidate’s raw score for each section is determined. The raw score is just the number of questions properly answered by the contestant. There will be no penalty for incorrect answers. As a result, it is preferable to attempt all of the questions because your predictions may be correct at times.
Each section’s raw score is then translated to a score range of 118 (lowest) to 132 (highest). The overall MCAT score is the total of all sections’ scores, and it is represented by a score range of 472-528.

The method of equating is used to turn the raw MCAT score into the score range, which takes numerous aspects into account, such as minor differences in difficulty between the sets of questions. This assures that the candidate’s result will be fair and even regardless of when the test is taken.
