Ans. The country that I would like to talk about is Japan. It is an island nation located in East Asia, known for its unique blend of traditional and modern influences. The capital city Tokyo, is one of the most vibrant and bustling cities in the world.

I got the opportunity to visit Japan in the spring of 2020. The trip lasted two weeks and allowed me to explore various parts of the country, including Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. The timing of my visit was perfect as it coincided beautifully with the cherry blossom season, which is one of the significant cultural events in Japan. One of the most interesting things about Japan is its rich history and culture. The country has various ancient temples and shrines that provide a glimpse into its past. For instance, in Kyoto, I visited the Kinkaku-ji, a Zen Buddhist temple that is covered in gold leaf. The sight of the golden pavilion reflecting on the mirror pond is truly breathtaking. 

Another fascinating aspect of Japan is its technological advancements. The country is known for its high-speed bullet trains, known as shinkansen, which are a testament to Japan’s prowess in the field of Engineering and Technology. I was amazed by the efficiency and punctuality of these trains. Japan’s cuisine is another highlight of the country. From sushi and ramen to tempura and sake, the food in Japan is diverse and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the traditional tea ceremony, which is a choreographed ritual of preparing and serving Japanese green tea. 

To conclude, my visit to Japan was an unforgettable experience. The country’s unique culture, advanced technology and delicious cuisine left a deep impression on me. It is a country that I would love to visit again in the coming years.
