a) Humans have witnessed many life-changing innovations such as the discovery of the wheel, but then some people argue that the invention of the internet overpowers every invention, which is an opinion I completely disagree with.

b) The Internet provides access to knowledge, the way people communicate with one another, work and learn things. But the assertion that the internet is the most important invention would mean overlooking all other inventions that happened such as the discovery of electricity, the printing press and many others. 

c) However, the importance of inventions is subjective and varies among individuals for example, for a farmer, an affordable and efficient irrigation system will have more value than the discovery of the internet.

d) In conclusion, every invention is important and its role may vary according to the challenges it addresses.

While I acknowledge the transformative impact of the internet, its importance cannot supersede that of every other invention that has occurred and significantly influenced human life.

One cannot deny that there is a complete paradigm shift in the way people communicate, work and learn things. The provision of instant access to information establishes easy knowledge sharing and collaboration which is indeed a boon to many. However, to assert that the internet is the most important invention of all time would be to overlook the impacts of other inventions in the past, leading to where humans stand today. For instance, the discovery of electricity played a crucial role in the development of modern technology, including the Internet. Similarly, the invention of the printing press standardized access to knowledge, akin to how the internet has made books affordable and widely available.
