If you want to become a company secretary after you have completed your final board exam, here are the course details in CS after the 12th. To apply, you will have to qualify for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test conducted at the national level.
If you want to become a company secretary, you will have to clear three stages. The first one of these stages is the foundation course. The second course is the Executive course and the last stage is known as the professional course. After qualifying all of these three courses the final course is the management training round. CS Course Details After 12th: Foundation Course

- Candidates should have completed 10 + 2
- They must have completed 12th from a recognised board and should have achieved a score of 50% marks.
Duration
The duration taken to complete the first level of the foundation course to become a company secretary is 8 months long.
CS Course Details After 12th: Executive Course
The executive course is seen as the second step towards officially becoming the company secretary. Students that have a background in any stream can opt for this course. However, students of fine arts can’t apply.

- The student must have cleared the foundation courses.
- Students who have completed their undergraduate course in any background or specialisation can apply for this course.
- Lastly, the age of the candidate should be a minimum of 17, while there is no maximum age limit.

Students can only pursue this course after successfully completing the executive and foundation courses.
