Dear Nikhil,
I hope you and your family are in great health. I am good too. I was missing you so I thought of writing a letter to you. My school is going well. After entering 8th standard, a new class teacher was assigned to us.

Her name is Mrs. Shobhna. She teaches us biology. I like her a lot. For a few initial days, I thought that she was very strict and would punish us quite often but to our surprise, she is quite polite and caring. The way she teaches us her subject is great. She has great knowledge of her subject and knows how to convey that knowledge to us without making us feel confused.

One best thing about her is that she doesn’t just hop and skip from one topic to another, she makes sure that we understand every topic before jumping on to the next one. When I go to her with any doubts regarding any of the topics, she explains it to me very politely. She is a great teacher and our class is glad to have her.

I hope your school is going well too. I remember the days when we used to go to the same school, it was great. Now, I miss you a lot. It has been almost forever since we haven’t met. When you get time, call me and we will plan a get-together. Till then, take care and give my regards to your parents.

Your loving friend,
Shlok
