Dear Ananya,

I hope this letter finds you in high spirits. I’m writing this letter to share my thoughts about road safety. Recently, I watched a documentary on Netflix that highlighted the lack of awareness about traffic rules, which often lead to disastrous consequences on roads.

Road safety is a critical aspect of our daily lives, and I think it’s something we can work on together. The government data and facts about road accidents are quite alarming. Can you believe that the annual road traffic deaths was 1.19 million in 2023?

This is a disaster, which we must address before it leads to anything worse. So. I’ve been  researching some tips on road safety, and I thought it might be helpful for both of us to consider the following:

Wearing Seat Belts: Always wear a seat belt while driving a car.
Wearing a Helmet: Always wear a helmet while riding a bike or two-wheeler.
Avoiding Distractions: Minimize distractions while driving, such as using phones or engaging in activities that take attention away from the road.
Defensive Driving: Consider taking a defensive driving course together. It could be a fun and educational experience that enhances our driving skills.
Planning: Plan our routes, especially during challenging weather conditions, to avoid unnecessary risks.

We need to create a safer environment for ourselves and others on the road. I want you to know that these road safety measures are not just rules, they are lifesaving lessons which we all must follow.

I value our friendship, and I believe that open communication is essential for our continued well-being. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions on this matter. Let’s work together to make our journeys safer and more enjoyable.

Take care, and looking forward to catching up soon.
Warm regards,
Saumya Mukharjee

Dear Vikrant,

I trust this letter finds you well. I’m writing this letter to share my thoughts on road safety. Recently, I read a newspaper article about road safety and how important it is for our and others’ well-being.

The article highlighted the government statistics on road accidents and the lack of awareness regarding traffic rules. It stabbed me like a Katana, prompting me to consider how we can contribute to making our journeys safer.

While I was reading the article, I was reminiscing about my own experiences on the road. There have been instances where I’ve noticed certain behaviours or situations that made me think about the importance of being vigilant and adhering to traffic guidelines.

I understand that none of us are perfect drivers, and we all make mistakes. However, I believe that being more conscious of our actions can significantly reduce the risks associated with driving. From wearing seat belts to avoiding distractions and respecting speed limits, small adjustments can make a big difference in ensuring our safety and the safety of others.

So it is for our and others’ safety that we adhere to traffic rules and make sure others also follow them. I value our friendship, and I believe open communication is crucial for addressing important topics like this.

Do let me know your thoughts on the matter and let’s discuss this together sometime. Until then, be safe and do not forget to wear that seat belt or helmet.

Wishing you safe travels always.
Warm regards,
Pratham Saxena
