56-C, 3rd Floor Preet Vihar Delhi-11005 15th March 2023 Dear Mom, I hope you are in great health and are taking good care of yourself. I am good here too. I was missing you so I thought of writing this letter to you. In the previous week, an annual athletic sports meet was held in my college. I want to tell you all about it. This athletic meet is held every year in my college. The decoration of our college grounds was so great with banners all around and music playing in the background. The day started at around 10:00 am with our principal addressing the students followed by the lamp lighting and then a few performances of dance and singing. Soon after that, the sports events started. The first event was a 200m race for girls. One of my friends, Sonalika secured 1st position in the same. After 3 more events, the event in which I participated started. It was a shuttle race. My friends cheered for me a lot and because of that and my performance, I secured 2nd position in it. After that, it was time for lunch. It was also organized by the college. Each student was given a thali consisting of 3 sabzis and 3 chapatis along with rice. It was delicious. In the second half of the meet, a tug of war was organized between our department and that of botany. Although students from our department tried their best, the botany department won that event. It was great to watch though. 2 more events took place after that, and then the day finished with all of us taking lots of pictures together. It was a great day. I miss you all so much. My midsemester break is around the corner so I will be coming home for 10 days in the middle of this month. I hope to see you all very soon. Till then, take care Mom, and give my regards to Dad and love to my little brother. Your loving son, Raghav. |
