VGSOM Cutoff 2023
As one of the renowned Business Schools in India, VGSOM IIT Kharagpur recently concluded the admission process for management courses for the academic calendar 2023-25. VGSOM Cutoff usually falls around 75%. All the candidates who cleared the minimum qualifying marks in the CAT exam and appeared for the personal interview rounds must know the basis for attaining the VGSOM cutoff.
The deserving candidates are shortlisted by calculating their scores in the entrance exam and their personal interviews. The IIT Kharagpur has made it mandatory for all candidates to appear for the CAT if they wish to pursue an MBA course at VGSOM. VGSOM Selection Process
The VGSOM selection process for admission to MBA programs is a two-step process. All the candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT will be called for an online Personal Interview (PI) round. The officials of the IIT Kharagpur release the final list of selected candidates on the basis of a cumulative score of the application rating (AR), percentile in CAT 2022, and the online personal interview process. Here are some important points to keep in mind.
- Candidates’ CAT scores are added to their application rating (AR) by dividing the scaled CAT score by 198 and multiplying it by 20.
- All the female candidates are given additional 4 marks for Gender Diversity Factor (GDF).
- The application ratings include the candidate’s academic performance in High School (10th Class), Higher Secondary (12th Class), Undergraduate (bachelor’s degree) and Postgraduate (master’s degree, if any), and professional experience (if any).
