Full form of IGNOU MSW Course – Master of Social Work (MSW)
IGNOU MSW course is designed for those who want to make their career in the social sector. The minimum duration of the course is 2 years and the maximum is 4 years long. The course offers two specializations including MSW General and MSW Counselling. The course includes 72 credits from compulsory courses, electives, and practical work. Assignments in the MSW course have 30% weighting, while the other 70% is based on theoretical principles.
There are certain points that you need to keep in mind while taking admission into the IGNOU MSW Admission.
- IGNOU will start accepting applications on May 15, 2024.
- The last date of the IGNOU MSW Admission is May 30, 2024.
- IGNOU MSW Admissions will be on merit based, no entrance test will be conducted.
- Graduates from well-known universities with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for this course.
