ULSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
To get admitted to the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, candidates have to fulfil the ULSAT eligibility criteria. It is mandatory to ensure eligibility otherwise, they will not be considered for the admission process. Keep in mind, candidates have to show the documents of their eligibility at the time of document verification. In case the university administration found you ineligible then your application can get rejected.
Candidates must note that they can get admission into the 5-year LLB program at UPES Dehradun through any of the three means: CLAT, marks in the board exam, and LSAT-India scores and rank.

ULSAT Application Process 2023
After checking their eligibility with the prescribed set of eligibility criteria, candidates must move on with the application process. Interested and eligible candidates can then register and apply online through the ULSAT official website, i.e. https://www.upes.ac.in/ or they can directly apply through the link provided below within the stipulated time.
The entire process of registration is online and it comprises two stages:

- Step 1: The candidates are required to click on the link mentioned above.
- Step 2: Enter the basic details correctly such as name, date of birth (DOB), gender, phone number, and email ID.
- Step 3: After successful registration, the candidates will receive a provisional username and a password on their registered email ID and phone number.
How to Apply for ULSAT 2023?
- Step 1: Log in with the credentials received over SMS or email, and then complete the application process.
- Step 2: Fill up the personal details, academic qualifications, and communication and permanent address details carefully.
- Step 3: Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.
- Step 4: Read carefully and then accept the terms and conditions.
- Step 5: Verify the details entered by you in the application form carefully once before proceeding further with the application fees.
- Step 6: After verification, pay the required application fee through a Debit card, Credit card or net banking.
- Step 7: After successful payment of the application fee, you will receive a copy of a receipt, download it and keep it for later reference.
ULSAT Application Fee 2023
To successfully register for the ULSAT Exam 2023, the candidates have to make a payment of INR 1350 as the application fee for the exam. There is no relaxation for any category on the application fee. The application fee is the same for candidates belonging to any of the reserved and unreserved categories.
Candidates must also note that the application fee is non-refundable. Hence, once the application fee payment is made by the candidate and later they fail to appear in the exam, then, there is no provision for the re-payment of the application fee. The application fee payment can be made online through a Debit card, Credit card, or net banking. The application fee can also be paid through offline mode by Demand Draft (DD) in favour of the “UPES Fee Account”.

ULSAT Exam Pattern 2023
The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun has released the exam pattern for ULSAT 2023. Candidates preparing for ULSAT 2023 should refer to the exam pattern to know about the test modalities. It will help them prepare for the ULSAT 2023 examination. The duration of the exam will be 2 hrs for LLM and other law courses, it will be 2.5 hours. The exam will be held online through a computer-based test mode (CBT mode).
According to ULSAT Exam Pattern, there will be a total of 150 questions for both LLB and LLM courses. The LLM exam will have both MCQs as well as descriptive type questions. Other law courses will have MCQ-type questions only. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers and/or unattempted questions. ULSAT Admit Card 2023
After the successful submission of application forms, the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun will release the admit cards for all the candidates who have timely paid the application fee. Candidates are advised to check all their personal information and the allotted exam centres in their ULSAT admit cards as soon as they get released. In case there is any discrepancy in any of the aforementioned information, candidates are advised to report the same to the exam authorities immediately.
Candidates must take a print-out of their ULSAT admit cards as the same would be required for entering the ULSAT exam centre. Failing to carry the ULSAT admit card, the candidate would be denied entry into the exam hall. Candidates must also take a government-approved photo ID card and a pen along with the admit card to the exam hall.
ULSAT Results 2023
The ULSAT results will be announced after the smooth conduction of the exam. Before the declaration of the results, the university also releases the answer key for students to have an approximate idea of how many marks to expect in the exam.
