The NMIMS Law Aptitude Test (LAT) is conducted by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for students interested in pursuing law at NMIMS.
NMIMS’ law school is approved by the Bar Council of India and was set up to provide quality legal education in order to provide qualified lawyers to the country. The course imparts legal education to candidates with a case study and class debate methods as its main teaching pedagogy. Further, the presence of separately incorporated compulsory credit-based internships and moot courts ensures that students are also able to gain practical knowledge and experience in addition to theoretical learning.

NMIMS LAT Selection Process 2023
The selection process for NMIMS’ law school will be based on the LAT examination. The conducting body will prepare a merit list based on the examination. Further, the decision of the conducting body in this regard will be final and binding.
Here are some important points to be noted regarding the selection process:
- As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should have cleared the 12th standard from an institution recognised by the government and his / her score should not be less than 50%.
- Candidates who will clear the cut-off marks are required to update the 10+2 or equivalent exam or predicted marks after the admission process.
- If any candidate fails to update the correct information in the online registration form, then that candidate will not be considered for the merit list and his/ her application will be rejected.
- Candidates themselves have to take the responsibility of entering their correct marks. At any given time, if it is found that the information about the 12th standard result or equivalent exam by the candidate is incorrect, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled and fees will be refunded.
