IRMASAT 2023 FAQs 

The Institute of Rural Management Anand conducts the IRMASAT or IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMA). Admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) and Fellow Programme in Rural Management is based on IRMASAT results (FPRM). The IRMASAT 2023 exam is often administered through the computer. Entrance to IRMA’s PGDRM programme is based on CAT/XAT results.

Applicants for the PGDRM programme must be graduates of a state or centrally recognised institution in any field.
Applicants must have at least a 50% aggregate or comparable CGPA. This total is 45 per cent for SC/ST/DAP.
Applicants in their last year of study are also eligible for IRMASAT 2023. Students must provide proof of qualifying for the final year by September 2023, or their candidature will be cancelled.
Applicants must have obtained an 85 percentile or above on the CAT 2022 or XAT 2023. These individuals are eligible to be considered for Merit-based Calls.
Applicants must have obtained an 80 percentile or above in the CAT 2022 or XAT 2023 and must meet the Profile-based Call.

The candidate must be a graduate of a recognised university with at least a 50% aggregate or equivalent.
They must have taken the GMAT/GRE (after 2015) and have a score that passes the IRMA minimal cut-off standards.
Foreign applicants cannot take the IRMASAT but they must participate in the Group Activity and Personal Interview rounds.

Choose the ‘Apply Online’ tab.
Register on the official website by providing basic information such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, password, city, and state.
An OTP will be issued to the email address specified upon successful registration.
Using the OTP verify your account. 

Access your IRMA account.
Choose the application form option.
Fill up the blanks with the required information.
Submit any relevant papers, including a passport-sized picture and a digital signature.
Before clicking the ‘submit/save’ button, double-check the information.
Pay the application fee using a credit/debit card or through net banking.

There will be an overall 40 questions in the IRMASAT exam.

The IRMASAT exam is of 80 minutes in duration. 

There will be 40 questions in the IRMASAT exam of one mark each. There is also a negative marking in the exam where 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. 

The IRMASAT 2023 selection procedure consists of two steps: a written ability test and a personal interview.

The offline PI round will be held in five different cities: Anand, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Guwahati. 

Applicants that meet the following requirements may be considered for profile-based calls:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public Policy, Sustainability, Veterinary Sciences, or Food Technology is required.
2. Employment experience in the Development Sector, Dairy Industry, and Public Policy.
3. Academic achievement: graduation from prestigious institutions and colleges.
